Background
I worked as a Student Technician at the Bush Combat Development Complex during Summer 2026 in College Station, TX.
During my time there I worked to reverse-engineer the JAUS protocol that was originaly implemented into our HDT Hunter Wolf robotic military vehicle, implemented a JAUS client to be able to communicate with it through a modified IOP port on the vehicle, developed a ROS2 codebase to remotely control it, utilized Vectornav in order to implement waypoint following and autonomous pathfinding, and developed an autonomy kit that could be built and attached onto our other Wolf vehicles.
